in kindergarten when i was asked what i wanted to be, i always loudly chimed in "artist!!!"

i’m a long time collector who uses my ipad pro and apple pencil to mix my love of antiques with happiness and charm to create cheerful works of art.

growing up in missouri, i was always the little girl at the estate sale with a bag of change. years of picking with my mom helped to instill this appreciation of old and unique goods with a storied past. along with these vintage treasures, i’m influenced by tasha tudor's art and unique style along with mary englebreit's colorful illustrations. i still have a copy of her print i found in college of a woman sitting at her desk, hard at work on an illustration, surrounded by glorious art supplies, and a sleeping cat. it reads “it is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance, and i know no substitute for the force and beauty of its process” (henry james) i would sit in my dorm room dreaming of my life and imagining that it was just like the illustration. i’d be a working artist in a cottage full of antiques and cats. i’m still pleasantly surprised that after 47 years i’ve finally found my way here.

i live and work in a 1930's english tudor cottage in midtown memphis, tn with my darling husband and our 4 cats.

i price my work affordably so that everyone can enjoy it, because we all need a little extra happiness in our lives
